As per recent reports and leaks, the upcoming smartphone will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 665 processor and 4GB RAM. It is tipped to be backed by a 4,000mAh battery.
In terms of optics, the Moto G8 Plus is said to sports a triple camera set up on the back. It is said to sport a 48MP primary sensor, a 16MP wide-angle sensor (a 117-degree field of view), and a 5MP depth sensor.
For selfies and video calling, the upcoming smartphone sports a 25-megapixel selfie sensor. The 64GB/ 128GB internal storage can be further expanded via a microSD card.

The Moto G8 Plus is likely to run the Android 9 Pie operating system. Connectivity options include Bluetooth v5, LTE, wireless LAN, LTE Cat 13, dual-band Wi-FI, NFC, and USB Type-C port.
The dual-SIM smartphone is tipped to sport a 6.3-inch IPS display with full-HD (1080 x 2280 pixels) resolution. It will be available in Blue and Red color options (with gradient glossy finishes).
Additional features on the device will include a 3.5mm audio jack and a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner.
