The Nokia 106 (2018) is priced in India at Rs 1,299. It is now available via offline stores in the country. Interested customers can also purchase the new handset via the official website. The original Nokia 106 was launched in Black, Red, and White color options at Rs 1,399.

The new phone features a 1.8-inch TFT display with QQVGA (160 x 120 pixels) resolution. It is powered by a MediaTek MT6261D processor along 4MB RAM and 4MB internal storage. HMD Global claims that the new handset is capable of holding up to 2,000 contacts and 500 text messages.

The Nokia 106 (2018) is backed by an 800mAh battery that offers up to 21 days of standby time or 15 hours of talk time on a single charge. It measures 111.15 x 49.5 x 14.4mm and comes in a Dark Grey color option. The polycarbonate build comes with ‘inherent coloring’ that makes the colors run through the material. Also, the contoured design makes it much more ergonomic than its predecessor.

The new handset comes preloaded with try-and-buy games such as Nitro Racing, Danger Dash, Tetris, etc. Additionally, the Nokia handset comes with an ever-green, classic Snake Xenzia. Connectivity options include a dual-SIM, Micro-USB port, 3.5mm headphone pack, and FM radio.

Conclusion

Apart from the Nokia 6 (2018), HMD Global also announced new Light Grey and Dark Blue color variants of the Nokia 230. Previously, it was only available in Black and Silver color options. The company also launched the Nokia 8110 4G Banana phone in October last year.
