The new Nokia 8 Sirocco sports a 5.5-inch pOLED display with QHD (1440 x 2560 pixels) resolution and 3D Corning Gorilla Glass 5. It is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor and 6GB LPDDR4X RAM and 128GB internal storage. The new handset is backed by a 3260mAh battery.

In terms of optics, the new device sports a dual camera setup on the back with dual-tone LED flash and Zeiss optics. It combines a 12-megapixel wide-angle lens (with f/1.75 aperture and 1.4-micron pixels) with a 13-megapixel telephoto lens with 2x optical zoom (f/2.6 aperture, and 1-micron pixels). The 5-megapixel front camera comes with a fixed focus lens, f/2.0 aperture, and 1.4-micron pixels.

The Nokia 8 Sirocco runs Android 8.0 Oreo operating system. The Android One smartphone offers stock Android experience and timely updates. Connectivity options include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth v5.0, GPS/ A-GPS, and NFC.

The new smartphone also comes with IP67 rating (dust and water resistance). It measures 140.93 x 72.97 x 7.5mm and comes in a Black color option. Sensors on the device include an accelerometer, ambient light sensor, barometer, digital compass, fingerprint sensor, gyroscope, and proximity sensor.
