The new handset is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon Wear 2100 platform and 1GB RAM. The company claims that the 8GB internal storage can hold over 1,000 songs, 2,000 short videos or 6,000 pictures. The 500mAh battery offers 1-2 days of regular use (or up to a week of standby time) on a single charge.
In terms of optics, the Nubia Alpha features a 5-megapixel camera. It comes with UI shortcuts. You can take a picture by just tapping on the screen. A long press records a video.

The new wearable runs an all-new, custom-made wearable OS. It supports air gestures, voice commands, and convenient multi-touch control. You can also set a custom watch face and stream music via Bluetooth.
Fitness tracking features include activity tracking, heart rate monitoring. It also tracks your sleep quality and exercise. Connectivity options include Bluetooth, Wifi, and eSIM.

Design
The new handset combines the best features of smartwatches and smartphones. It sports a flexible 4.0-inch OLED display (developed by Visionox) that wraps around your wrist. The flexible display is coated in strong, heat-resistant Polyimide.
The Nubia Alpha is also water-resistant. Nubia claims that the wearable smartphone is made from premium materials such as anodized stainless steel. It comes in Black and Gold color options. The Gold variant features a band plated in real 18k gold.

The Nubia Alpha is accompanied by the company’s nubia pods which claim to enhance quality and battery performance. The company also showcased several other devices at the MWC 2019. This includes the nubia Mini 5G, Nubia X, and Red Magic Mars.
The Nubia Mini 5G is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 SoC and an SDX50 5G modem. Whereas the Nubia X features a bezel-less 6.26-inch display on the front and an additional 5.1-inch full-quality display on the back. Highlights of the Red Magic Mars include Hybrid liquid/air cooling, built in touch-sensitive shoulder buttons, and a 16.8 million-color RGB strip.
