Oppo has sent out media invites for a launch event scheduled in New Delhi on April 5, 2016. Oppo has not yet revealed which phone(s) it is going to launch. The invite sent by the company, however says that it will launch the ‘new camera phone’ which hints at Oppo’s R9 and R9 Plus phones.

To recall, Oppo’s R9 and R9 Plus are companies latest camera focused smartphones. The R9 Plus is essential the larger variant of Oppo R9 and both devices pack a lot of similarities. Read on to find more details on price, specifications and features of the devices.

Both phones feature a fingerprint sensor integrated into the home button which can unlock the phone in just 0.2 seconds. They also support VOOC flash charge that is claimed to deliver up to 2 hours of talk time with just 5 minutes for charging.
