The Oppo Reno 2 will be launched in India on August 28. As of now, there is no information about its price tag.

As per recent leaks and listings, the upcoming smartphone will be powered by a 2.2GHz octa-core Snapdragon 730G processor and 8GB RAM. The 256GB internal storage can be further expanded via a microSD card (up to 256GB).
In terms of optics, the Oppo Reno 2 is said to sport a quad-camera set up (48MP + 13MP + 8MP + 2MP) on the back. It is touted to come with 20X zoom support.
For selfies and video calling, the flagship handset will sport a 16-megapixel front camera. It will use a Side-swing pop-up mechanism. The 4,000mAh battery will support VOOC 3.0 flash charge technology.

The Oppo Reno 2 is likely to run Android 9 Pie operating system. A dedicated Neural Processing Unit (NPU) will enhance different modes like Ultra Dark Mode and Bokeh Mode.
For gaming, the flagship device will offer 25 percent faster graphics rendering (compared to Oppo Reno). It will be equipped with anti-cheat extensions, Game Boost 3.0, Game Assistant, and HDR10 gaming support.
The upcoming smartphone will sport a 6.5-inch AMOLED display with Full-HD+ (1080 x 2400 pixels), 20:9 aspect ratio, 93.1 percent screen to body ratio, and Gorilla Glass 6 protection. It will also sport an in-display fingerprint sensor 3.0 (with G3 optical sensor fingerprint unlocking tech).
In terms of the dimensions, the Oppo Reno 2 is expected to measure 160 x 74.3 x 9.5mm and weigh 189 grams. It will be available in Ocean Heart and Misty Powder color options.
Additional features will include a 3D curved glass back panel, USB Type-C port, and an optimized Wi-Fi.

The new handset will be powered by a MediaTek Helio P90 processor along with 8GB RAM and 256GB internal storage. The 4,000mAh battery with support for VOOC 3.0 charging.
In terms of optics, the Oppo Reno 2Z will feature a 48-megapixel IMX586 sensor, a 119-degree 8-megapixel sensor, and two 2-megapixel sensors. Cameras include 2x optical zoom, ultra steady video mode (up to 60fps frame rate), EIS, and ‘Ultra Night Mode’.
For selfies and video calling, it will feature a centrally aligned pop-up camera. The upcoming smartphone will sport a 6.53-inch display with full-HD+ (1,080 x 2,340 pixels) resolution, 19.5:9 aspect ratio, and Gorilla Glass 5 protection.
Oppo Reno 2
The upcoming smartphone will be powered by the MediaTek Helio P70 processor along with 8GB RAM and 128GB internal storage. The 6.53-inch display comes with Full-HD+ (1,080 x 2,340 pixels) resolution, 19.5:9 aspect ratio, and Gorilla Glass 5 protection.

The Oppo Reno 10X Zoom smartphone was launched earlier this year at starting price of Rs 39,990. The Oppo Reno was launched at Rs 32,990.
The Reno smartphone sports a panoramic AMOLED display and a side-swing selfie camera module. The 10x Zoom Edition sports a triple rear camera setup with a periscope telephoto lens.
