The new handset is powered by a MediaTek Helio P70 processor along with 8GB RAM and 128GB internal storage.
The 6.53-inch AMOLED display comes with a 19.5:9 aspect ratio, a 91.6 percent screen-to-body ratio, and a resolution of 1,080 x 2,340 pixels.
The Oppo Reno 2F comes in Sky White and Lake Green color options. It also sports Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection on the front and back.
Cameras
The quad-camera set up includes a 48-megapixel Samsung ISOCELL GM1 sensor, an 8-megapixel wide-angle lens (119-degrees angle of view), a 2-megapixel portrait lens, and a 2-megapixel monochrome lens.
For selfies and video calling, the Oppo Reno 2F sports a centrally-aligned 16-megapixel pop-up front camera. Camera features include an AI Beauty, Ultra Night Mode 2.0 mode, and Ambient Light mode.

The Oppo Reno 2F was launched in August last year (alongside the Reno 2 and Reno 2Z).
All three smartphones come with a quad rear camera setup with a 48MP primary sensor. While the Oppo Reno 2 sports a shark-fin style elevating camera, the Oppo Reno 2Z and Reno 2F sport a centrally-aligned pop-up selfie camera.
The Android handsets come with ColorOS 6.1 on top. There is also an optical G3 in-display fingerprint sensor for authentication. The 4,000mAh battery comes with VOOC Flash Charge 3.0 support.
