The Pre 3 was announced seven years ago. Now, images of a new Palm smartphone have surfaced on the Internet. The new handset is expected to finally make it to the smartphone market. However, there is no information on the Indian launch date or price. The new Palm phone is expected to launch in the US initially (exclusively via Verizon).

As per latest leaks and rumors, the new Palm phone (currently codenamed Pepito) will sport a 3.3-inch display with HD (720p) resolution. It will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 435 processor along with 3GB RAM and 32GB internal storage.

The upcoming smartphone will be one of the smallest smartphones on the market. It will be backed by a small 800mAh battery. It will be available in Gold and Titanium color options.

The Palm phone will run Android 8.1 Oreo operating system. Connectivity options include WiFi 2.4GHz and quad-band LTE support.

Palm brand was acquired by HP in April 2010. However, its webOS division was shut down in 2011. Later, LG bought the webOS technology. In 2015, TCL purchased all Palm trademarks.
