The Razer Phone 2 is priced in the US at $799.99 (approx Rs 59,500). While the new handset comes in two storage variants – 64GB (with ‘classy mirror back’) and 128GB (with ‘rugged satin finish’) – only the 64GB are available for pre-orders. The 128GB storage model will be launched at a later date.

The gaming smartphone is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor (up to 2.8GHz) and 8GB LPDDR4X RAM. The powerful chipset is coupled with Adreno 630 GPU and Vapor Chamber Cooling. The internal storage can be further expanded via a micro SD card (up to 1TB).

In terms of optics, the Razer Phone 2 features a dual camera set up at the back. It combines a 12-megapixel wide-angle lens (f/1.75 aperture) and a 12-megapixel telephoto lens (f/2.6 aperture). Camera feature includes It comes with optical image optimization (OIS), dual PDAF (Phase detection Autofocus), and dual tone, dual-LED flash. Users can record with up to 4K resolution.

The Razer Phone 2 runs Android 8.1 Oreo operating system. Connectivity options include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, and Bluetooth 5.0. The dual front-firing stereo speakers come with dual amplifiers, Dolby ATMOS technology, and 24-bit USB Type-C DAC audio adapter.

The company claims that the 120Hz UltraMotion display offers ‘a brighter screen with zero lag or stuttering.’ The Ultramotion technology ties screen refresh rate to the frame rate being outputted by the graphics processor. In terms of dimensions, the smartphone measures 158.5 x 78.99 x 8.5mm. It comes with a glass back and an IP67 rating (water resistance up to 1 meter of depth). The logo on the back is RGB backlit and supports Razer Chroma.
