The Realme 2 Pro was launched in India at Rs 13,990 for the 4GB RAM/ 64GB internal storage variant. While the 6GB RAM/ 64GB storage model came with a price tag of Rs 15,990, the 8GB RAM/ 128GB storage variants costs Rs 17,990.
Now, the company has slashed the price of its 4GB RAM and 6GB RAM variants by Rs 1,000. It is now available in the country via Flipkart at Rs 12,990 and Rs 14,990, respectively.

The new handset is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 AIE processor along with Adreno 512 GPU. The internal storage can be further expanded via a microSD card (up to 256GB). It is backed by a 3,500mAh battery (down from 4,230mAh battery on Realme 2).
In terms of optics, the Realme 2 Pro sports a dual camera set up at the back (horizontally stacked). It features a 16-megapixel primary 1/2.8-inch Sony IMX398 sensor (1.12-micron pixel size, 6P lens, and f/1.7 aperture) and a 2MP secondary sensor. It can record 4K videos at 30fps. The 16-megapixel front camera comes with f/2.0 aperture and AI Beauty 2.0. The smartphone also supports AR stickers. AI features include a portrait mode, multi-frame noise reduction, and scene recognition.

The dual-SIM smartphone runs on Android 8.1 Oreo operating system with ColorOS OS 5.2 on top. Connectivity options include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac, Bluetooth, GPS, and USB OTG.
The Realme 2 Pro sports a 6.3-inch display with full-HD+ (1080 x 2340 pixels) resolution, 409ppi pixel density, 19.5:9 aspect ratio, and 90.8 percent screen-to-body ratio. It measures 156.7 x 74.0 x 8.5mm and weighs 174 grams. A fingerprint sensor is placed on the back.
The handset sports a polycarbonate resin dewdrop back cover. It comes in Black Sea, Blue Ocean, and Ice Lake color options. Sensors on the device include an acceleration sensor, gyroscope, geomagnetic sensor, light and distance sensor.
