Price and Availability
The Vivo V9 Pro is priced in India at Rs 19,990. It is available via Amazon India and Vivo Store. As per recent reports, the 4GB RAM variant is expected to be exclusively available via Flipkart and Vivo E-store. It is expected to be available from Nov 1 at Rs 15,990.
At its price-point, the Vivo V9 Pro 4GB RAM variant will compete against the likes of Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro and Nokia 6.1 Plus. It is tipped to come in in two color options (nebula purple and black) in the Indian market.

The new handset is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 AIE processor along with Adrena 512 GPU and 6GB RAM. The 64GB internal storage can be further expanded via a dedicated microSD card slot (up to 256GB). It is backed by a 3,260mAh battery.
In terms of optics, the Vivo V9 Pro sports a dual camera setup on the back (with LED flash). It combines a 13-megapixel primary sensor (with f/2.2 aperture) and a 2-megapixel secondary sensor. The 16-megapixel front camera comes with f/2.0 aperture and AI features (including AI selfie lighting and AI face beauty).

The dual-SIM smartphone runs on Android 8.1 Oreo operating system with Funtouch OS 4.0 on top. Connectivity options include 4G VoLTE, dual-band Wi-Fi (2.4GHz and 5GHz), Bluetooth v4.2, GPS/ A-GPS, a 3.5mm headphone jack, USB OTG, and a Micro-USB port.
The Vivo V9 Pro features a 6.3-inch Fullview Display 2.0 with a resolution of 1080 x 2280pixels and a screen-to-body ratio of 90 percent (approx). A fingerprint scanner is placed on the back. The new handset measures 154.81 x 75.03 x 7.89mm and weighs 150 grams. It comes in a Black color option only.
Recently, the Chinese brand launched the Vivo V9 Youth smartphone. Whereas the Vivo V9 was launched in March this year. The company has also launched its Vivo V11 smartphone in India at Rs 22,990. It is powered by a MediaTek Helio P60 processor along with 6GB RAM and 64GB internal storage (expandable up to 256GB).
The Vivo V11 sports a dual camera setup on the back (16MP + 5MP) and a 25MP front camera. It is backed by a 3,315mAh battery with quick-charging support. The new smartphone sports a 6.3-inch Super AMOLED display with full-HD+ (1080 x 2340pixels) resolution and 19:9 aspect ratio.
