Samsung has launched Galaxy J7 smartphone in China alongside Galaxy J5 smartphone. Both selfie focused dual-SIM smartphones will go on sale in China this week in Black, White and Gold color options. Both J5 and J7 get a 5 MP front facing camera with LED Flash, which is a first from Samsung. The Galaxy J7 is priced at CNY 1798 (approximately Rs. 18,500). There is no word on availability of the handsets in global markets.
As for specifications, the Galaxy J7 comes with an octa-core Snapdragon 615 processor, 1.5GB of RAM, 5.5-inch HD IPS display, 13 mega pixel rear camera, 5 mega pixel front facing camera, 16GB of inbuilt memory, Android 5.1 Lollipop OS and 3000mAh battery.

Samsung is gearing up for the launch of Galaxy J7 smartphone. Ahead of its official launch, the handset is up for pre-orders on a Kazakhstan-based online retailer named Alser for KZT 49,990 (roughly Rs. 17,000). Though the retailer has started taking pre-orders, sale of the smartphone is likely to start in August.

With the previous user agent profile leak, it is already confirmed that Samsung is working to expand its Galaxy J series. However, more information about information about specifications of upcoming Galaxy J7 model has started churning out the rumor mill. According to Sam Mobile the J7 will run Android 5.1 Lollipop operating system while sporting a 13 mega pixel or 8 mega pixel primary camera and a 5 mega pixel front facing camera. Other rumored specs of J7 include a 1.2 GHz or 1.5 GHz octa-core Marvel PXA1936 processor paired with 1.5 GB of RAM, 5.5-inch HD TFT LCD display, 4 GB or 8 GB of inbuilt memory (expandable via microSD card) and 3000 mAh battery.

A user agent profile of a new Samsung’s device with model number SM-J700F has been spotted on Samsung’s website. The handset is expected to be the Samsung Galaxy J7 smartphone, PhoneArena reports. As for specifications, the J7 is likely to be powered by a 1.5 GHz Cortex A53 processor. It will also feature a 5.5-inch HD display with 1280 x 720 pixels resolution. Notably, SM-J700 was also spotted on the import/export database, Zauba which reveals that two units of SM-J700, each with Rs. 15,908 value have been imported in India for research and testing purposes.
Rest of the details about specifications and features of Galaxy J7 are scarce and are likely to surface in the coming days.
Galaxy J7 if launched, will be the second member of Samsung’s J series. The only current handset in J series is the Samsung galaxy J1 phone which was launched in the Indian market in February 2015 at Rs. 7,190. As far as specifications of the device are concerned, the dual-SIM handset is powered by a dual-core Cortex-A7 processor clocked at 1.2 GHz paired with 512 MB of RAM. Running Android 4.4 operating system, it features a 4.3 inch WVGA TFT display with 800 x 480 pixels resolution. The J1 houses 4 GB of inbuilt storage which is expandable up to 128 GB via microSD card. It sports a 5 mega pixel auto focus rear camera with LED flash while there is also a 2 mega pixel front facing camera onboard. The handset is fueled by an 1850 mAh battery. It measures 129 x 68.2 x 8.9 mm, weighs 122 grams and offers 3G, Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi and GPS as connectivity options.
