The Samsung Galaxy S11 series is expected to be launched on February 18 next year. As fo now, there is no information about its price tag.

As per certain reports, Samsung might merger the Galaxy Note and Galaxy S series into a new Galaxy One smartphone with S –Pen support.

The South Korean giant is expected to launch the upcoming handset in three screen sizes (up to 6.9-inch) and five different variants.

The new lineup will include both 5G and 4G LTE support. There will also be a variant called the Samsung Galaxy S11e.

Additionally, the company might launch the successor of Galaxy Fold (with clamshell foldable design) at the same event.

As per recent reports, the next Galaxy S-series flagship will sport a custom 1/1.3-inch 108-megapixel camera (different than the recently unveiled ISOCELL HMX Bright sensor) with 9-to-1 Bayer technology.

The new sensor would offer 12-megapixel photos with greater clarity and details (especially in low light situations). It employs 9-cell pixel binning (3×3 pixels) technology to combine nine pixels of 0.8micron size each to create a larger pixel with an effective 2.4micron size.

The Samsung Galaxy S11 is tipped to sport a periscope-style camera module with 5X optical zoom support. Both the Galaxy S10 and the Galaxy Note 10 duo come with 5x optical zoom.

The new camera set up will allow users to capture brighter photos in low-light conditions. The Tetracell technology combines four pixels into one for more detailed images.

Users will be also able to capture 8K resolution videos at 30 fps. The camera sensor also uses the company’s smart-ISO mechanism.

Camera features are tipped to include Director’s View, Night Hyperlapse, Single Take Photo, Vertical Panorama, and custom filters.

The Samsung S11 is expected to be powered by Snapdragon 865/ Exynos 990 processors (depending on the market) and a 3,730mAh/ 4,300mAh/ 5,000mAh battery.

The upcoming handset is tipped to run the Android 10 OS with One UI 2.0 out of the box. A new Focus mode will let users specify which apps are distracting. These will be silenced when the feature is enabled.

The Samsung Galaxy S11e, Galaxy S11, and Galaxy S11+ will come with 6.4-inch, 6.7-inch, and 6.9-inch curved-edge displays, respectively.

The new displays are said to come with a 20:9 aspect ratio and 120Hz refresh rate. Apart from 60Hz and 120Hz options, the new One UI 2 beta version will also come with an option to automatically switch between 120Hz and 60Hz refresh rate.

Additional features will include 48MP telephoto lens, Face Unlock, LPDDR5 memory, UFS 3.0 storage, 25W fast charging support, and 5G support.

The Samsung Galaxy S11e is tipped to come with a triple camera setup on the back (RGB sensor + wide-angle lens + telephoto lens). For selfies, it will sport a single camera.

The upcoming handset is expected to feature a 6.2-inch/ 6.3-inch curved display. It is tipped to measure 51.7 x 69.1 x 7.9mm.

The Samsung Galaxy S11 is said to be powered by a Snapdragon 865/ Exynos 990 processor along with 6GB RAM and up to 256GB UFS 3.0 storage.

Additional features include an in-display fingerprint sensor and a USB Type-C port.

The Samsung Galaxy S11+ is tipped to sport a 6.9-inch Infinity-O Dynamic AMOLED curved display (120Hz refresh rate).

The upcoming handset will be powered by an Exynos 9830 processor and 12GB RAM. It will also include an in-display fingerprint sensor and a Penta-camera module (108MP primary sensor) at the back.

Additionally, the Samsung Galaxy S11+ is said to come with punch-hole design, 8K video recording, 5X optical zoom, a USB Type-C port, and Android 10 OS.

The Samsung Galaxy S10 was launched with a triple rear camera set with the company’s Dual OIS (optical image stabilization) technology and up to 10x digital zoom.
