The Oppo Reno S is expected to be launched in January this year. It is tipped to be priced in India around the Rs 40,000 mark.

As per recent leaks and reports, the Oppo Reno S will be powered by a Snapdragon 855 processor. Some reports also hint at Snapdragon 855 Plus SoC.

The 4,100mAh battery will come with support for 10W charging support. It is tipped to support for 65W SuperVOOC 2.0 fast charging technology.

In terms of optics, the Oppo Reno S is tipped to sport a 64-megapixel primary camera sensor.

The upcoming handset is said to come with 6.5-inch/ 6.6-inch display. It is tipped to measure 164mm x 75.5mm.

Connectivity options on the device will include USB Type-C port, 3.5mm headphone jack.

The Oppo Reno Ace is priced in China at CNY 3,199 (approx Rs 32,000) for the 8GB RAM/ 128GB storage variant. It sports a 6.5-inch curved AMOLED Full-HD+ display with a 90Hz refresh rate, and a 135Hz touch sampling rate.

The Oppo Reno Ace is powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 855 Plus processor (based on 7nm process) along with Adreno 640 GPU, 8GB/ 12GB RAM, and 128GB/ 256GB UFS 3.0 internal storage.

The 4000mAh battery comes with support for 18W Quick Charge as well as 65W SuperVOOC fast charging technology (provides two hours of battery backup in just five minutes).

The quad-camera setup comes with a 48MP 1/2.25-inch Sony IMX586 sensor (f/1.7 aperture, 0.8um pixel size, PDAF, OIS, EIS). It will also include an f/2.2 8MP 116-degree Ultra Wide Lens, 13MP telephoto lens (5x Hybrid Optical Zoom, 20X digital zoom, f/2.4), and 2MP monochrome lens.

For selfies and video calling, the handset sports a 16MP front camera with f/2.0 aperture.
