Samsung has launched a new tablet in the US market. The Galaxy Tab S6 comes with an in-display fingerprint sensor, quad speakers, and a huge 7,040mAh battery. The Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 is priced in the US at $649 (approx Rs 44,800) for the 6GB RAM/ 128GB storage variant. The 8GB RAM/ 256GB model comes with a price tag of $729 (approx Rs 50,300).
As part of launch offers, users will get three months of free Spotify Premium and four free months of YouTube Premium. Sales will start in the US from September 6.
An LTE variant of the device will be launched later this year. As of now, there is no information about the Indian price or launch date.

The new tablet is powered by a 64-bit octa-core processor (based on 7nm process) and up to 8GB RAM. The 128GB/ 256GB internal storage can be further expanded via a microSD card slot (up to 1TB).
In terms of optics, the Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 sports a dual-camera setup (13-megapixel sensor + 5-megapixel sensor) on the back. For selfies and video calling, it sports an 8-megapixel front camera.
The new tablet is backed by a 7,040mAh battery. The S Pen features 0.35mAh battery (with wireless charging support) that lasts up to 10 hours after just ten minutes of charge time.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 runs Android 9 Pie operating system with Samsung’s OneUI on top. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Wi-Fi Direct, and Bluetooth 5.0.
The new tablet sports a 10.5-inch WQXGA Super AMOLED display. It measures 244.5 x 159.5 x 5.7mm and weighs 420 grams. Users can choose from Mountain Gray, Cloud Blue, and Rose Blush color options.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 supports a keyboard and tablet cover accessory for easy typing. It also supports the company’s DeX interface offers a more desktop-like experience when using the tablet with a keyboard. The keyboard attachment features a function key to launch DeX quickly.
Additionally, the new tablet features include an improved S Pen (sticks magnetically to the back), four speakers, and an in-display fingerprint sensor. Other sensors on the device include accelerometer, gyro sensor, geomagnetic sensor, hall sensor, and RGB light sensor.
