Samsung G9198 Flip Phone Launched: Specifications & Features

Samsung has launched its latest flip phone, called the Samsung G9198 in China. Under the hood, it is powered by a 1.8GHz hexa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 processor paired with 2GB of RAM. The handset runs Android operating system. This smartphone sports two 3.9-inch WXGA Super AMOLED touchscreen displays- one on the inside and another on outside, with 1280×768 pixels resolution.

There is 16GB of inbuilt storage onboard which is expandable up to 128GB using microSD card. On camera front, it sports a 16 mega pixel rear camera with LED flash and a 5 mega pixel front facing camera. Backed up by a 2020mAh battery, it measures 120.3×61.2×16.3 mm in dimensions and weighs 204 grams. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS and Micro-USB.

Samsung has launched its latest feature phone called the Samsung Metro B350E in the Indian market. As for specifications, it features a 2.4-inch QVGA display with resolution of 320×240 pixels.The handset houses 32GB of inbuilt storage which can be expanded up to 16GB using microSD card. There is a 2 mega pixel camera on the rear for capturing images.

Backed up by a 1200mAh battery with Power saving mode technology, it measures 117.5×51.3×11.9mm in dimensions. Connectivity options which this dual SIM device offers, include Bluetooth and GPRS/EDGE. Unlike smartphones with touchscreen display, this feature phone comes with physical keypad for input.

Leaked Images Of Samsung Z2 Tizen Smartphone Surface Online

Last month it was reported that Samsung is working on two Tizen smartphone- Samsung Z2 and another global smartphone. Now images of the former smartphone have started making rounds on the internet. The successor of Samsung Z1, the Z2 phone is said to be an entry level phone unlike the forthcoming global Tizen smartphone which will be a mid-ranger. According to the leaked images, the Tizen based Samsung Z2 will feature a physical home bottom in the centre, just like the Samsung Galaxy line-up. The volume buttons will be the same as in Samsung Z1. It will also feature front facing camera and Proximity / Light / Gesture sensors. The Z2 is expected to be launched later this year.

Samsung To Launch Tizen Based Samsung Z1 Phone in India In December 2014

South Korean smartphone manufacturer Samsung will be launching its entry level low cost smartphone- Tizen based Samsung Z1 soon in December 2014. This smartphone will be available in sub $100 category which makes it around Rs. 6000/-. According to South Korea’s Maeil Business Newspaper, Samsung is going to launch this phone on 10th December 2014 at a press conference in India. Samsung’s smartphones are based on google’s platform. The launch of Tizen operating system based smartphone will reduce the reliance of Samsung on Google Android operating systems.
