Sharp has announced a new smartphone in Japan. The new Aquos Zero sports an OLED display panel and runs Android Pie operating system. Price and Availability
As of now, there is no information about the Indian price and availability of the Sharp Aquos Zero. However, the upcoming smartphone will be launched in Japan by the end of this year.

The new handset features a 6.22-inch OLED display with WQHD (1440 x 2992 pixels) resolution, support for the DCI-P3 color space and Dolby Vision. It is powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 845 processor along with Adreno 630 GPU, 6GB RAM, and 128GB internal storage.
In terms of optics, the Sharp Aquos Zero sports a 22-megapixel rear camera with f/1.9 aperture and an 8-megapixel front camera. It is backed by a 3,100mAh battery.

The 4G handset runs Android 9 Pie operating system. Connectivity options include VOLTE support, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac, GPS, Bluetooth, and a 3.5mm audio jack. A fingerprint sensor is placed on the back.
The Sharp Aquos Zero sports a magnesium frame and an aramid fiber back panel. It comes with a display notch and a thin chin at the bottom edge. The handset measures 154 x 73 x 8.8mm and weighs 146 grams.
Additional features on the device include Face Unlock, stereo speakers, and IPX5/IPX8/IP6X certification (water and dust resistant).
The company launched the Sharp Aquos R2 in May this year. The power-packed smartphone also features a water-resistant and dustproof body. It sports a 6-inch IPS LCD display with a resolution of 1440 x 3040 pixels. A 2.58GHz octa-core processor is supported by 4GB RAM and Adreno 630 GPU. In terms of optics, the Sharp Aquos R2 sports a dual camera setup (22MP + 16MP) on the back and a 16MP front camera. It is backed by a 3130mAh Li-ion battery.
Earlier this year, the company launched Sharp Android One S3. It features a 5.0-inch IGZO display with full HD resolution. The device is backed up by a 2,700mAh battery. In terms of optics, the Sharp Android One S3 sports a 13-megapixel rear camera with hybrid autofocus, PDAF, and a LED flash. It is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 octa-core processor along with 3GB RAM and 32GB internal storage.
