The Sony Xperia XZ Premium has been priced at Rs. 59,990. Users who pre-book the new smartphone between 2nd – 11th June 2017 will also get free Wireless Bluetooth Speaker SRS-XB20 worth Rs.8,990. Sony is also offering a 3-month subscription to Sony LIV worth Rs. 349 along with Gameloft’s Modern Combat 5 with 5,200 in-game credits to all buyers. The new handset will be available across India 12th June 2017 onwards.
Features like 4K HDR display, super slow motion, super-fast download speeds, and a beautiful loop design make the new Sony handset irresistible. However, the huge price of Rs. 59,990 is likely to keep many users at bay. Heavy pricing is an ongoing issue with the Sony Xperia series smartphones.

Thanks to the new Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor and an integrated Snapdragon X16 LTE modem, the Xperia XZ Premium is one of the first smartphones with Gigabit Class LTE (offers speeds up to 1Gbps). Another highlight of the new device is the Motion Eye camera with Super Slow Motion and Predictive capture. Sony brings its camera expertise to the XZ Premium. A memory stacked Exmor RS sensor (only found on premium cameras) offers 5x faster image scanning and data transfer. Users can record super slow motion videos at 960 frames per second. The camera also comes with Predictive Capture feature and a redesigned G lens for higher optical clarity.
