Reliance AGM has officially launched the highly anticipated JioPhone. The new feature is being touted by the company as ‘India ka Smartphone’. With the new feature phone, Reliance plans to reach estimated 50 crore feature phone users who have not been able to use the Jio 4G. The JioPhone comes with 4G VoLTE support. Reliance Jio Launches New Submarine Cable System

Reliance Jio has been killing it in the Indian market. The telecom operator has captured a large chunk of Indian customers with its free data plans and 4G services. It is the only network that supports Voice over LTE (VoLTE) technology. Now, the aggressive brand has launched a new submarine cable system. The Asia-Africa-Europe (AAE-1) uses state-of-the-art 100Gbps transmission technology. It will bring the new capacity of up to 40 Terabits to the Indian region. Reliance has silently introduced a new variant of Reliance Jio JioFi 4G hotspot with OLED display. The device is available to buy from offline stores in a few cities across the country.

A Twitter user has shared the images of the JioFi 4G hotspot that provide a closer look at the device as well as its cylindrical packaging in Blue and Red colors. The JioFi 4G hotspot has a rectangular matte finish design with smooth edges. The front side of the device has an OLED display and Jio branding while the rear part says- ‘Designed in India’.

Soon after launching Jio Lyf Earth 1, Lyf Water 1 and Lyf Water 2, Reliance Jio has introduced a new smartphone, called the Reliance Jio Lyf Flame 1, in India.

Under the hood, the phone is powered by a 1.1GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 210 processor coupled with Adreno 304 GPU and 1GB of RAM. Running Android 5.1 Lollipop operating system, it features a 4.5-inch FWVGA IPS display with resolution of 854×480 pixels. The handset comes with 8GB of internal memory which can be expanded up to 32GB via microSD card.
