Gionee launched its S6 smartphone in India earlier this year. Now the company has launched the Pro variant of the phone- Gionee S6 Pro, in the country.
As for specifications, the S6 Pro is powered by a 1.8GHz octa-core MediaTek Helio P10 processor paired with Mali T860MP2 GPU and 4GB of RAM. The phone runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow wrapped under Amigo OS 3.2. It features a 5.5-inch full HD display with 1920×1080 pixels resolution and 2.5D curved glass.
HTC has launched its latest Desire series smartphone- HTC Desire 10 Lifestyle, in India. Under the hood, it packs a 1.6GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor paired with Adreno 305 GPU. The phone houses 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal memory which can be further expanded up to 2TB via microSD card.
Sony has launched its Sony Xperia XZ smartphone in the Indian market. It is company’s latest flagship smartphone and features a premium loop surface design. The device also comes with IP65/IP68 certification for resistance against dust and water.
ZTE has expanded its Blade series of smartphones with the launch of ZTE Blade A2 Plus in China. Under the hood, it packs an octa-core MediaTek MT6750T processor clocked at 1.55GHz paired with Mali-T860 GPU. Based on RAM, the phone comes in two variants- one with 3GB of RAM while other variant packs 4GB of RAM. Both variants house 32GB of internal memory and support expandable storage via microSD card.
TCL has launched its two new smartphones- TCL 950 and TCL 580, in China. The TCL 950 packs a 2.15GHz Snapdragon 820 processor coupled with Adreno 530 GPU. On the front, it has a 5.5-inch full HD display with 1920×1080 pixels resolution.

Apple unveiled its latest flagship smartphones iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus earlier this month. Both the phones will be up for pre-orders in India via Apple’s authorized e-commerce reseller, Flipkart, starting midnight tonight (Thursday, September 29 at 23:59 PM). While pre-orders in India are starting tonight, they will go on sale starting October 7. As for pricing, the iPhone 7 will be available starting at Rs. 60,000 (32GB variant). The iPhone 7 Plus will be available starting at Rs. 72,000 (32GB storage version).
Lava has launched its latest budget smartphone, called the Lava A97. Under the hood, it packs a 1.3GHz quad-core processor paired with 1GB of RAM. It features a 5-inch FWVGA display with 854×480 pixels resolution and 196 ppi pixel density. The phone houses 8GB of internal memory and supports expandable storage up to 32GB via microSD card. On software front, it runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system.
