The upcoming smartphone will be launched on February 25. There is no information about its price tag yet.

In India, Vivo iQoo 3 will be available via Flipkart and the dedicated iQoo website. It is expected to arrive later this month.

“The brand new iQoo 3 is built to satisfy the high-performance requirements of technology-savvy consumers and we truly believe that this will elevate the user’s smartphone experience,” said Aditya Soni, Senior Director, Mobiles at Flipkart.

The company plans to launch 4G and 5G models of the upcoming device at Rs 35,000 and Rs 40,000, respectively.

As per recent leaks and listings, the Vivo iQoo 3 will be powered by a 2.84GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 processor along with 6GB/ 8GB/ 12GB LPDDR5 RAM and 128GB/ 256GB UFS 3.1 storage.

The gaming smartphone is tipped to feature a 6.44-inch Super AMOLED punch-hole display with full-HD+ (1080 x 2400 pixels) resolution and a 60Hz refresh rate.

The side panel will feature ‘monster touch buttons’ for gaming, an Ultra Game Mode, and a new 180Hz touch response rate.

The Vivo iQoo 3 is tipped to measure 158.51 x 74.88 x 9.16mm and weigh 214.5 grams. It will come in Volcano Orange, Tornado Black, and Quantum Silver color options.

The flagship device is likely to feature a quad-camera setup with a 48MP primary sensor. It will also include two 13MP sensors and a 2MP sensor. A previous listing hints at 64MP primary camera and a 16MP front camera.

The primary camera will sport AI eye-tracking technology. It focuses on the eye of the person in the frame to ensures that the subject is in focus.

For selfies and video calling, the iQoo 3 is said to sport a 16MP front camera. The 4,400mAh battery will come with 55W Super Flash Charge technology.

The new smartphone would run the Android 10 operating system with a custom interface on top. It will come with 5G support and a 3.5mm audio jack.

Additionally, the Vivo iQoo 3 is said to come with an in-display fingerprint sensor and liquid cooling technology.

Recently, the Vivo iQoo Neo 855 Racing Edition was launched at CNY 2,598 (approx Rs 26,400) for the 8GB RAM/ 128GB storage variant. The 12GB RAM/ 128GB storage model costs CNY 2,798 (approx Rs 28,400).

The Vivo iQoo Neo 855 sports a 6.38-inch Super AMOLED display with Full-HD+ (1080 x 2340 pixels) resolution, 19.5:9 aspect ratio, and 90 percent screen-to-body ratio. It also sports a waterdrop-shaped notch and an in-display fingerprint sensor.

The dual-SIM smartphone is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 Plus processor along with 8GB/ 12GB RAM and 128GB UFS 3.0 storage. The 4,500mAh battery comes with 33W fast charge support.

In terms of optics, the Vivo iQoo Neo 855 sports a triple camera setup on the back. It uses a 12-megapixel primary sensor (with dual-pixel tech, f/1.79 aperture), an 8-megapixel wide-angle lens (f/2.2 aperture), and a 2-megapixel sensor (f/2.4 aperture).

For selfies and video calling, the smartphone sports a 16-megapixel front camera with dual-pixel technology and an f/2.0 aperture. It supports AI beautification and Face unlock features.
