Expanding its Y series, Vivo has introduced a new smartphone in the Indian market, called the Vivo Y27L.

Under the hood, it is powered by a 64-bit 1.2GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 (MSM8916) processor paired with Adreno 306 GPU and 1GB of RAM. It features a 4.7-inch HD display with 1280×720 pixels resolution and runs Android 4.4 KitKat based Funtouch OS 2.0. On storage front, it comes with 16GB of internal memory which is expandable up to 128GB using microSD card. The handset sports an 8 mega pixel rear camera with LED flash and a 5 mega pixel front facing camera.

Backed up by a 2260mAh battery, the Vivo Y27L measures 136.9×68.1×6.99mm in dimensions and weighs 137 grams. Besides dual SIM support, the device offers 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS as connectivity options. It boasts of a slim metallic body and comes with Smart Wake and Smart Screenshot features.

The company has also announced two more smartphones in the Y series, namely- Y31 and Y15S which will be available in the coming days. There is no word on specifications, pricing and availability details of both handsets as of now.
