Xiaomi has unveiled a new concept phone with a quad-curved waterfall display. While it is unlikely to to reach the commercial market, we might see the premium features in upcoming Xiaomi devices.
Xiaomi claims the new smartphone has a hyper quad-curved 88-degree surface area that “represents the sum of 46 ground-breaking patents, greater than its parts”.

The new Xiaomi concept phone sports a quad-curved waterfall display. The status bar has been moved to the right edge.
The new handset comes with curved edges on all four sides with no bezels, no ports or buttons anywhere. It may have touch sensors for power, volume control and other functions.
The futuristic-looking handset features a camera module at the top left corner with a large sensor. The selfie camera seems to be placed under the screen.
Additionally, the premium model presumably supports wireless charging as there is no charging port on the device. It runs on a modified version of its MIUI skin.

Concept phones are essentially a showcase of the capabilities of the OEMs. Xiaomi is yet confirm all the details of the new handset.
Last year, Vivo also showcased the Apex 2020 smartphone with a 120-degree curved edgeless display and a unique in-display selfie camera.
