The Xiaomi Mi 9 Pro 5G is priced in at CNY 3,699 (approx Rs 37,000) and CNY 3,799 yuan (approx Rs 38,000) for the 8GB RAM/ 128GB storage and 8GB RAM / 256GB storage models.
The 12GB RAM/ 256GB storage and 12GB RAM/ 512GB storage variants cost 4,099 yuan (approx Rs 41,100) and 4,299 yuan (approx Rs 43,100), respectively.
The company is offering a 30W wireless charger with Qi-standard support for just CNY 199 (approx Rs 2,000).

The new smartphone is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 Plus processor along with up to 12GB RAM and vapor chamber (VC) cooling technology.
The 4,000mAh battery comes with support for 40W fast charging (takes 48 min to fully charge) and 30W wireless charging (takes 69 min to fully charge).
The handset supports reverse wireless charging at 10W. Also, the bundled 45W fast charger can also charge your laptop via USB Type-C port.
Camera
On the back, the Xiaomi Mi 9 Pro 5G sports a triple camera set up. It uses a 48MP primary sensor (f/1.75 aperture), 12MP telephoto camera (f/2.2 aperture), and a 16MP wide-angle camera (f/2.2 aperture).
For selfies and video calling, the new handset sports a 20MP front camera with f/2.0 aperture.

“Mi 9 Pro 5G also sports the industry’s most efficient vapor chamber (VC), along with five layers of graphite sheet, high thermal conductivity copper foil, and thermal adhesive, together forming a powerful three-dimensional cooling system.
The L-shaped VC has a heat dissipation area up to 1,127mm2, which accommodates faster and more efficient heat transfer compared to graphite and copper tubes. As a result, the processor’s core temperature can be reduced by 10.2-degrees Celsius.” – Xiaomi said in a statement.
