Xiaomi to enter Indian market via Flipkart

Xiaomi, a Chinese Smartphone manufacturer is all set to enter the Indian market. So far other Chinese players like Oppo and Gionee has been able to establish them in India.Xiaomi has done a tie up with an Indian ecommerce portal, Flipkart in order to sell its Smartphone’s. The Chinese manufacture, Xiaomi to launch Redmi and Mi3 initially in India and sell them exclusively through Flipkart. As per the sources, one can expect the official launch sometimes in end July or Mid August.

Later on, the company plans to launch the Mi4, Mi2S, iPad mini rival – Mi Pad and others.

Whereas the Flipkart decline to exchange words regarding the selling of Xiaomi devices in India.

Few days ago, Xioami introduced its Indian website mi.in. The Indian operations will be headed by Manu Kumar Jain and the pricing strategy will be aggressive as well.

The Mi3 is the company’s flagship devices which is going to features a 5-inch full HD touchscreen, and is powered by 2GB of RAM, a 2.3GHz Snapdragon 800 processor, a 13MP camera with a Sony sensor and 16GB internal memory.

It was founded in 2010 by entrepreneur Lei Jun, the Beijingis consider as an Apple of China. The china based company deals in designs, develops and sells smart phones, mobile apps and other such consumer items.
