Price and Availability

The ZTE Axon 10s Pro 5G is expected to be launched in the first half of 2020. As of now, there is no information about its price.

The ZTE Axon 10 Pro was launched in China at 3,199 yuan (approx Rs 32,750) for the 6GB RAM variant. The 8GB and 12GB RAM variants come with a price tag of 3,699 yuan (approx Rs 37,900) and 4,199 yuan (approx Rs 43,000), respectively.

As per recent reports, the ZTE Axon 10s Pro 5G will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 processor along with up to 12GB RAM and up to 512GB UFS 3.0 storage.

The upcoming smartphone will support dual-mode 5G network (SA/ NSA) and Wi-Fi 6. It is being touted as one of the thinnest 5G flagships, thanks to the thickness of only 7.9mm.

The ZTE Axon 10s Pro 5G is said to sport a flexible hyperboloid glass with a metal frame. It will measure 159.2 x 73.4 x 7.9mm and weigh only 175g.

The upcoming handset is tipped to sport a 6.47-inch OLED display with Full-HD+ (1080 x 2340 pixels) resolution. It is said to be backed by a 4000mAh battery.

The triple rear camera setup is said to come with a 48MP primary sensor, a 2MP secondary sensor, and an 8MP tertiary sensor. For selfies and video calling, it will come with a 20MP front camera.

The ZTE Axon 10s Pro 5G is tipped to run the latest MiFavor 10 (based on Android 10 OS). The new UI design includes 1,600 system icons, better battery life, and global dark mode (with better eye protection at night).

AI improvements include AI voice assistant (offers an intelligent search of scene-based languages ​​and full voice control of commonly used functions of WeChat) and AI smart screen.

The AI engine Z-Booster 2.0 is said to intelligently allocate system resources through AI algorithms. It accelerates and optimizes gaming/ multi-tasking tasks to achieve fast startup, high picture quality, smooth performance.

Additionally, the handset is tipped to come with an in-display fingerprint sensor and a waterdrop-shaped notch.

Conclusion

ZTE plans to launch 5G mobile phones under 3,000 yuan (US$ 430 / Rs. 30,385 approx.) in the first quarter of 2020. More than 10 ZTE 5G smartphones are expected to arrive worldwide next year.

The ZTE Axon 10 Pro runs the Android 9 Pie operating system out of the box with MiFavor 9.1 interface on top. It comes with 4G LTE support.

The new handset sports a 6.47-inch AMOLED display with a Full-HD+ resolution (2340 x 1080 pixels). It comes with an in-display fingerprint scanner.

The ZTE Axon 10 Pro is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 processor and 6GB/ 8GB/ 12GB RAM. The 128GB/ 256GB internal storage can be further expanded via a micro SD card slot (up to 2TB).

In terms of optics, the new smartphone features a triple camera set up on the back. It combines a 48MP primary sensor (f/1.7 aperture) with a 20MP secondary sensor (ultra-wide-angle lens, 125-degree field of view), and an 8MP tertiary sensor (telephoto lens).

For selfies and video calling, the handset sports a 20MP front camera. The 4,000mAh battery comes with up to 18w fast charging and wireless charging support.
