HMD Global is all set to launch multiple devices this month itself. This includes Nokia 9, Nokia 6 (2018) and Nokia 8 (2018). The company is also said to be working on a 4G variant of Nokia 3310 and Android Go-based Nokia 1. Now, a new leak hints that the Finnish brand plans to add two new devices to its line-up – Nokia 4 and Nokia 7 Plus. Price and Availability
As of now, there is no official information about the price and availability of the upcoming devices. The Nokia 4 and Nokia 7 Plus are expected to hit the market in 2018.
HMD Global is expected to launch Nokia 9 at an event in China on January 19. It might also unveil the Nokia 3310 4G variant, Nokia 6 (2018) and Nokia 8 (2018) at the same event. The company might save other devices at MWC 2018.
Specifications and Features
The new details come from an unzipped APK file of the default Nokia Camera app. As per the camera app, HMD Global is working on Nokia 4 and Nokia 7 Plus alongside the Nokia 1, Nokia 6 (2018), Nokia 8 (2018), and the Nokia 9.
As far as specifications are concerned, the Nokia 7 Plus is a larger version of the Nokia 7. It is tipped to be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 processor. Details of the Nokia 4 are still known.
The Nokia 1 is expected to run Android Oreo (Go edition) operating system. It is expected to feature an HD IPS display, 1GB RAM, and 8GB onboard storage.
The Nokia 6 (2018) is said to sport a 5.5-inch display with 18:9 aspect ratio. It will be powered by a Snapdragon 630 processor along with 4GB RAM and 32GB internal storage. It is also expected to sport a dual rear camera setup. Camera features might include the Bothie camera feature (introduced in the Nokia 8).
The Nokia 3310 4G variant is tipped to support TD-LTE, TD-SCDMA, and GSM networks. It will run a custom version of Android with Alibaba’s Yun OS on top. The 4G handset is expected to sport a 2.4-inch color display with QVGA (240 x 320 pixels) resolution. It will be backed by a 1200mAh removable battery and 64GB internal storage. On the camera front, the upcoming handset is tipped to sport a 2-megapixel rear camera with an LED flash. The dual-SIM handset is said to come with Bluetooth v2.1 and Micro-USB as connectivity options.
