Sony Mobile has launched a two new smartphones in its flagship series – Xperia XZ2 and Xperia XZ2 Compact. Price and Availability
As per a recent listing, the Sony Xperia XZ2 is priced at EUR 799 (approx Rs 63,700). It will be available in the second quarter of 2018. Whereas the Xperia XZ2 Compact will be available in Germany at EUR 599 (approx Rs 47,800). Previously, the company had announced that the new handsets will be globally available from March 2018.
The listing also revealed the price of some accessories. For example, the Xperia Ear Duo XEA20 will be available in Germany at EUR 279 (approx Rs 22,200). A Wireless Charger WCH20 (for Xperia XZ2) comes at EUR 79 (approx Rs 6,300).

The new smartphone sports a 5.7-inch TRILUMINOS HDR display with full-HD+ (1080 x 2160 pixels) resolution and an X-Reality display engine. It is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor and 4GB RAM. The 64GB UFS internal storage can be further expanded via a microSD card (up to 400GB).
In terms of optics, the Xperia XZ2 sports a 19-megapixel Motion Eye rear camera with autofocus burst, 4k HDR recording, 8x digital zoom, and SteadyShot technology. The 5-megapixel front camera also comes with a 23mm wide-angle lens and SteadyShot technology. It is backed by a 3180mAh battery with Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0.

The dual-SIM smartphone runs Android 8.0 Oreo operating system out-of-the-box. Additional connectivity options include USB Type-C (3.1), Bluetooth 5.0, NFC, Wi-Fi, GPS, GLONASS, wireless charging, and Google Cast.
The new handset comes in Liquid Black, Liquid Silver, Deep Green, and Ash Pink color options. It measures 153 x 72 x 11.1mm and weighs 198 grams. A fingerprint sensor is placed on the back.

The new Compact model sports a 5.0-inch TRILUMINOS HDR display with full-HD+ (1080 x 2160 pixels) resolution and Sony’s X-Reality display engine. It is backed by a 2870mAh battery with Qualcomm’s Quick Charge 3.0. The new smartphone comes in Black, White Silver, Moss Green, and Coral Pink color options. It measures 135 x 65 x 12.1mm and weighs 168 grams. Other features remain the same.
