Previous Yota smartphone stood out in the market thanks to its dual display. Now, Yota Devices has officially launched it’s YotaPhone 3 (previously rumored as Yota 3) in China. The new smartphone comes with similar features as its predecessor. It features an additional E-Ink rear display as its USP. It comes in two storage variants. Price CNY 2,398 (approx. Rs 23,050)

The 64GB variant of YotaPhone 3 is priced at CNY 2,398 (approx. Rs 23,050). The 128GB storage model comes at CNY 3,098 (approx. Rs 29,781). Pre-orders for the new handset start from September 5. It will be available from September 18 onwards. As of now, there is no information about an Indian launch date and price.

The YotaPhone 3 sports a 5.5-inch full HD AMOLED display in the front. On the back, it features a 5.2-inch HD e-ink touchscreen. It is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 processor and 4GB of RAM.

On the camera front, the new smartphone features a 13-megapixel rear camera with a dual-LED flash. There is also a 12-megapixel front camera. It is backed by a 3,300mAh battery with a USB Type-C port for charging.

Conclusion

The YotaPhone 3 smartphone is manufactured by Baoli Yota, which is a joint venture of investor Baoli (formerly known as Rex) and manufacturer Coolpad. The first generation YotaPhone was launched in 2013, while the YotaPhone 2 was unveiled at MWC 2014. The new Yota 3 device doesn’t offer many impressive specifications.
