Yota3 Dual-Screen Smartphone Unveiled: All You Need To Know

Previous Yota smartphone stood out in the market thanks to its dual display. Now, Yota Devices is about to launch its third smartphone called the Yota3. As per latest reports, the Yota3 is priced at $350 (approx Rs 22,500) for the 64GB internal storage model, while the 128GB storage model costs $450 (approx. Rs 29,000). It will be launched globally later this year. According to the Russian report, the Yota 3 will start shipping in China from September.

The leak suggests that the Yota3 sports a 5.5-inch full HD AMOLED display in the front. On the back, it features a 5.2-inch HD e-ink touchscreen. It is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 processor and 4GB of RAM.

On the camera front, the new smartphone features a 12MP rear camera with a dual-LED flash and a 13-megapixel front camera. It is backed by a 3,200mAh battery.

The Yota3 smartphone comes with a fingerprint sensor in the front. It runs Android Nougat operating system out of the box. The leak hints that the Yota 3 will not come with a 3.5mm audio jack. The audio output will be handled by the USB Type-C port.


The Yota3 smartphone is manufactured by Baoli Yota, which is a joint venture of investor Baoli (formerly known as Rex) and manufacturer Coolpad. The first generation YotaPhone was launched in 2013, while the YotaPhone 2 was unveiled at MWC 2014. The new Yota 3 device doesn’t offer many impressive specifications.
