The Realme Band is priced in India at Rs 1,499. It will be available from March 9 via Realme.com.

Interested users will also be able to buy the fitness band via Amazon and offline stores soon.

The Realme Band features a 0.96-inch TFT LCD color display with a resolution of 80 x 160 pixels and a touch button. It comes in Black, Green, and Yellow strap color options.

Thanks to a built-in gravity sensor, the display panel wakes up with a lift of your wrist. Users can also adjust five-level brightness through the Realme Link app.

The app also allows you to choose from five dial faces. Realme claims that future over-the-air (OTA) updates will add additional dial faces.

Features such as cloud multi-dial, multi-language font, and the weather forecast will also be added through a future update.

The fitness band is compatible with devices running Android 5.0 Lollipop or higher. It includes Bluetooth v4.2 as a connectivity option.

The Realme Band also offers smart notifications. It supports apps such as Facebook, WhatsApp, Instagram, Twitter, TikTok, YouTube, etc.

The new smart band features an IP68-certified build. It is touted to be safe from dirt, dust, sand, or an ‘occasional dips’ in the water.

The Realme Band is backed by a 90mAh battery that is touted to last six to nine days. Sensors on the device include a three-axis accelerometer and rotor vibration motor.

Additionally, a high-precision PPG optical heart rate sensor measures the real-time heart rate every five minutes. An Idle Alert feature reminds users to move/ walk after sitting for a long time.

The company has also added a Sleep Quality Monitor that uses an algorithm to analyze sleep quality and generates a report to check sleeping patterns.

The Realme Band also comes with nine sport modes such as walking, running, yoga, etc. Users can store any three of the given modes on the fitness band.

Other features on the wearable include USB Direct Charge and a Cricket Mode (offers detailed statistics while playing a cricket match).

The Xiaomi Mi Band 4 sports a 0.95-inch color AMOLED display with a resolution of 120 x 240pixels and a 2.5D glass protection on top. It features 77 colorful watch faces and six sports modes.

The new wearable shows information about your physical activity and notifications about text messages/ voice calls. It also provides live weather and stock updates.

The highlight of the new model is its six-axis accelerometer. It helps users to monitor their physical activities such as cycling, exercise, running, swimming, and walking.

The 5 ATM rated device can even identify your swimming strokes (freestyle, breaststroke, backstroke, butterfly, etc) and offer swolf score to determine your swimming skills.

Xiaomi claims that the new smart band offers 20 days of battery life on a single charge. The payment support is backed by Alibaba’s Alipay.
