So after the Motorola and Micromax, Lava also joined the competition of offering a rich feature entry level device in Indian market. Recently, the big hit in Indian market was Motorola’s Moto E with some good features at really affordable price of INR 6,999. At that time everyone thought that this device is going to kill all the competition of entry level device in Indian market. But surprisingly, Micromax came up with a new device with Micromax Unite 2 with the same price tag of Moto E and again with rich features. And recently Micromax even came up with another device – Micromax Canvas Engage with some rich features like latest operating system Android KitKat, 5MP camera and quad core processor with fewer prices than Moto E and Unite 2. And now the Lava also joined the league of Micromax and Motorola and made the competitions tougher and interesting than ever.
Last week, we told you about the Micromax Unite 2 smartphone, first smartphone shipped with latest Android 4.4 Kitkat operating system in India and priced around 7000. Now today Micromax came up with another smartphone running latest OS Android Kitkat and priced really competitive INR 6,199. Unlike other manufactures smartphones, running older version of Android, Micromax launched two of its device with really competitive price and latest operating system Android Kitkat. And the Micromax Canvas Engage is the most affordable smartphone, running Android 4.4 KitKat operating system out of the box.
Huawei launched two new mid-range devices in China, Huawei Honor 3X Pro and Huawei Honor 3C 4G announced in China and both Android devices will go on pre-order from Saturday and will be available in the market from 5 June. There are no details about the availability in International market. The Huawei Honor 3C was recently launched in India along with Huawei Ascend G750 and Ascend G6. The Huawei Honor 3C 4G is the LTE version of Honor 3C, launched in India. The Honor 3X pro comes with Android 4.2 Jelly Bean while the Honor 3C 4G comes with latest android 4.4 kitkat operating system.
Micromax just announced its first latest Android KitKat operating system running smartphone in India. The device is not officially listed on company’s website, but we got a press release regarding this smartphone. The Micormax said that this device has Reverie Multilingual pack and offers users to communicate in 20 Indian regional languages & English. So that makes counting up to 21 languages long with English and 20 others regional languages, means this smartphone is world’s first smartphone that comes in 21 languages. So it is the first smartphone from company with latest operating system Kitkat and first smartphone in world with 21 languages support like Hindi, English, Marathi, Tamil, Telugu etc., and other features are same as we can find in a smartphone around INR 7,000. But we have to compare this smartphone with Motorola’s Moto E too.
HP comes up with an entry level affordable tablet in US market with a price tag of $100. The 7-inch device is powered by a 1GHz quad core ARM Cortex A7 processor along with 1GB RAM. The device comes with only Wi-Fi connectivity only, no specific cellular model as well. And there is not any plan to launch it in international market as well.
The LG L35, an entry level smartphone under LG’s L series III devices listed on the official German website of the company. The LG L35 already went on sale in Russia last month. The LG L35 was announced at the MWC this year along with LG L40, L70 and L90. There is no detail about the international launching of device along with the price.
