LG G4 Beat With Snapdragon 615 Soc, 5.2-inch Display Launched: Price, Specs & Features

LG has taken the wraps off a mid-ranged variant of flagship device LG G4 called the LG G4 Beat. The G4 beat is certainly a scaled down version of flagship G4.

As for specifications, the G4 Beat is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 processor with eight cores clocked at 1.5GHz paired with Adreno 405 GPU and 1.5GB of RAM. It runs Android 5.1.1 Lollipop wrapped under LG UX 4.0 and features a 5.2-inch Full HD IPS LCD display. There is 8GB of eMMC inbuilt storage onboard. The device sports an 8 mega pixel rear camera and a 5 mega pixel front facing camera. Latin America variant however will sport a 13 mega pixel camera on the rear. while front camera will remain the same.

Micromax has launched its latest budget friendly smartphone called Micromax Bolt S301 in the Bolt series. Highlight of this device is that it comes with 3G support despite its low price tag. The device is targeted at those buyers who want to upgrade from a feature phone to a smartphone.

Under the hood, the Bolt S301 is powered by a 1GHz single-core processor coupled with 512MB of RAM. It runs Android 4.4.2 KitKat operating system and features a 3.5-inch FWVGA display with 854×480 pixels resolution. There is 4GB of inbuilt memory which is expandable up to 16GB using microSD card. Backed up by a 1200mAh battery, the Bolt S301 is claimed to deliver up to 4 hours of talk time and up to 240 hours of standby time.

Karbonn has launched a new budget smartphone- Karbonn Aura in the Indian market. The smartphone is powered by a 1.2GHz quad-core processor paired with 512MB of RAM. Running Android 4.4 KitKat, it features a 5-inch IPS display. It sports a 5 mega pixel rear camera with LED flash and a 2 mega pixel camera on the front.

There is 8GB of inbuilt storage which is expandable up to 32GB via microSD card. Backed up by a 2000mAh battery, the handset offers 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and Micro-USB as connectivity options. The device comes with G-sensor which automatically rotates itself on sensing tilting direction. The phone can be synced to Outlook emails and comes with voice search option.

Zen Mobile has launched a new affordable smartphone in the Indian market dubbed the Zen Sonic 1.

As for specifications, the Sonic 1 is powered by a 64-bit 1.3GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 processor paired with Adreno 306 GPU and 2GB of RAM. Running Android 5.0 Lollipop operating system, it features a 5-inch HD IPS display with 1280×720 pixels resolution and 178-degree viewing angle. It sports a 5 mega pixel auto focus rear camera with dual LED flash and a 2 mega pixel front facing camera. There is 16GB of inbuilt storage on board which is expandable up to 32GB using microSD card.

OnePlus 2 Smartphone To Pack 4GB Of LPDDR4 RAM

OnePlus has revealed through a blog post that its forthcoming flagship phone OnePlus 2 will pack 4GB of LPDDR4 RAM. This announcement is in line with the previous leak which revealed that there will be three variants of OnePlus 2- A2001, A2003, and A2005. The A2001 will feature 3GB of RAM while other two variants will be higher specced sporting 4GB of RAM.

“Unlike 32-bit processors that can only utilize up to 3GB of RAM, our 64-bit Snapdragon 810 processor uses all 4GB to its maximum potential,” says OnePlus. More details about the forthcoming OnePlus 2 phone are likely to surface in the coming days. Stay tuned with us!

Samsung is reportedly working on a new smartphone in the J series, called the Samsung Galaxy J2. Leaked specifications of the device have started making rounds online.

The Galaxy J2 is rumored to be powered by a 32-bit 1.2GHz quad-core Exynos 3475 processor paired with 1.5GB of RAM. The device is said to run Android 5.1.1 Lollipop operating system and feature a 4.5-inch TFT LCD display with 800×480 pixels resolution. Micromax has launched its latest affordable smartphone called the Micromax Bolt D303 in its Bolt series. Highlight of this device is its Swipe keyboard from Firstouch. It comes with support for 10 regional languages and new Messaging Service which lets users to translate and transliterate in the language of their choice using patented ‘Swipe’ feature.
