Apple iPad Mini 4 Launched: Price, Specifications & Features

Apple has launched its Apple iPad Mini 4 alongside iPhone 6s, iPhone 6s Plus, iPad Pro and new Apple TV. While the design language of the iPad Mini 4 remains similar to its predecessor, there are several changes in its hardware specifications.

It is powered by a 64-bit Apple A8 processor paired with M8 motion coprocessor. The device features a 7.9-inch LED-backlit display with 2048×1536 pixels resolution. Based on storage, it will be available in three variants- 16GB, 64GB and 128GB. The tablet sports an 8 mega pixel rear camera and a 1.2 mega pixel front facing camera. On software front, it runs iOS 9 which will be made available to existing devices on September 16.

Apple has launched its much awaited Apple iPad Pro alongside Apple iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus smartphones.

As for specifications, it is powered by a 64-bit Apple A9X processor paired with M9 motion coprocessor. It features a 12.9-inch LED-backlit display with 2732×2030 pixels resolution and 264ppi pixel density. The display also features antireflective and oleophobic coating. It will be available in two variants based on storage- 32GB and 128GB. The device sports an 8 mega pixel iSight camera with 1080p video recording on the rear and a 1.2 mega pixel front facing camera.

Pantel Technologies has launched its latest budget Android tablet- Penta T-Pad WS704DX in the Indian market. As for specifications, it is powered by a 1.3GHz dual-core processor paired with 1GB of RAM. Running Android 4.4 KitKat operating system, it features a 7-inch display with 1024×600 pixels resolution.

There is 8GB of internal memory onboard which is expandable up to 32GB using microSD card. The tablet sports a 2 mega pixel camera with LED flash on the rear while there is also a 0.3 mega pixel front facing camera for video calling and capturing selfies. It is backed up by a 3000mAh battery. Connectivity options which the T-Pad WS704DX tablet offers include 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, USB OTG and HDMI port.

Swipe Technologies has launched its latest 3G enabled voice calling tablet- Swipe Ace in India. Under the hood, it is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core processor paired with 1GB of RAM. Running Android 4.4 KitKat operating system, it features a 6.95-inch display with 1024×600 pixels resolution.

Alcatel has entered into the Indian tablet market with the launch of Alcatel OneTouch POP 8S tablet. Under the hood, it is powered by a 1.2GHz quad-core processor paired with 1GB of RAM. LG has launched its latest Android tablet- LG G Pad II 10.1 ahead of IFA 2015 event in September 2015. It succeeds the LG G Pad 10.1 which was launched last year in 2014.

Under the hood, it is powered by a 2.26GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor paired with 2GB of RAM.
