iBall has expanded its Slide series of tablets with the launch of iBall Slide Avonte 7 tablet in India. Under the hood, it is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core processor paired with 1GB of RAM. Running Android 4.4 KitKat operating system, it features a 7-inch HD IPS display with 1280×800 pixels resolution.

There is 16GB of internal memory which is expandable up to 32GB using microSD card. The tablet sports a 13 mega pixel rotating camera with auto focus and packs a 2800mAh battery. Besides dual SIM support, it offers 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS as connectivity options. It comes with support for voice calling, 9 regional system languages and read and write support for 21 languages.

A month after its introduction at an event in San Francisco, the Apple iPad Mini 4 is available to buy in India. It is available to buy from online retailer Infibeam and carries the same price tag as the Apple iPad Mini 3 that was launched last year.

To recall, the iPad Mini 4 is powered by a 64-bit Apple A8 processor and features a 7.9-inch display with 2048×1536 pixels resolution and 326ppi pixel density. Based on storage, it comes in three variants- 16GB, 64GB and 128GB. The device sports an 8 mega pixel iSight rear camera with auto focus and a 1.2 mega pixel front facing camera.

Lenovo has launched its Lenovo Yoga Tab 3 tablet in India alongside Lenovo Tab 2 A7-20. It was announced at IFA 2015 last month in September.

It is powered by a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 212 (APQ8009) chipset clocked at 1.3GHz paired with Adreno 304 GPU and 1GB of RAM. Running Android 5.1 Lollipop operating system, it features an 8-inch HD IPS display with 1280×800 pixels resolution. It comes with 16GB of inbuilt storage which can be expanded up to 128GB via microSD card and an 8 mega pixel auto focus 180 degree rotatable rear camera. Backed up by a 6200mAh battery, the Yoga Tab 3 is claimed to deliver up to 20 hours of usage time and up to 95 days of standby time. It measures 210x146x3.0 mm in dimensions.

Lenovo has launched its latest affordable Android tablet in the A series, called the Lenovo Tab 2 A7-20 in India. As for specifications, it is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek processor paired with 1GB of RAM. It runs Android 4.4 KitKat operating system which is upgradable to Android 5.0 Lollipop. The tablet features a 7-inch IPS display with 1024×600 pixels resolution.

On storage front, it houses 8GB of inbuilt memory which is expandable up to 32GB via microSD card. The Tab 2 A7-20 sports a 2 mega pixel primary camera on the rear and a 0.3 mega pixel front facing camera.
