The company’s recent smartphone Honor Play was the first handset to feature GPU Turbo out-of-the-box. The company has said that they will bring the graphics card to other Honor handsets as well. It will be a facilitated through a future software update.

Honor GPU Turbo tech will slowly be available to all Honor users across the world.

So basically, the Honor GPU Turbo tech rebuilds the traditional graphics processing framework. It is done at a lower system layer to improve the user experience.

According to the company, the Honor GPU Turbo tech will be advantageous for mobile games. The ones requisite of high graphics processing efficiency. It will be done by enhancing the speed and optimizing the experience.

Huawei sub-brand Honor recently launched its new handset Honor Play in China. The device is built with a 6.3-inch display. The display has a 19:5:9 aspect ratio. Moreover, it also has a notch. The gadget is equipped with a HiSilicon Kirin 970 SoC. It has up to 6GB RAM. The phone is also the first to have GPU Turbo.

Honor Play provides 4D gaming experience. It comes with real-time recognition of the game scene. This vibrates the phone to match the game. According to the company, the handset will boost performance when a game being played is detected. It also runs EMUI 8.2 based on Android 8.1.

The smartphone is being sold for CNY 1,999 (Rs. 21,000 approximately) for its 4GB RAM variant. The 6GB RAM variant is being sold for CNY 2,399 (Rs. 25,100 approximately). Both the smartphones are available for pre-order right now. It will start being sold in China from 11th June 2018. The Honor Play is available in Black, Violet, and Blue color options.
