Taiwanese consumer electronics company HTC has released its Desire 12 and Desire 12+ handsets in India today on 6th June 2018. The HTC Desire 12 and Desire 12+ were launched globally in March 2018.

HTC Desire 12 and Desire 12+ Price And Availability

Both the handsets will be sold in Cool Black and Warm Silver color variants. HTC Desire 12 and Desire+ pre-orders start on 7th June 2018. They are priced at Rs. 15,800 and Rs. 19,790 respectively. It will be done exclusively via HTC India E-Store.

The smartphones will be available in retail from 11th June 2018 onwards.

HTC Desire 12 Specifications

The handset is built with a 5.5-inch HD+ IPS display. It has a resolution of 720×1440 pixels. It also has an 18:9 aspect ratio. HTC Desire 12 is powered by a quad-core MediaTek MT6739 SoC. It has two RAM variants (2GB and 3GB RAM). It also has two storage variants (16GB and 32GB), expandable via microSD card (up to 2TB).

HTC Desire 12 is a dual-Nano SIM supported handset. It runs Android-based HTC Sense UI. In the camera department, the smartphone sports a 13-megapixel BSI camera sensor on the back. It comes with f/2.2 aperture. Up front, it has a 5-megapixel BSI sensor with f/2.4 aperture.

The device comes with a 3.5mm headphone jack and some sensors. It is also packed with a 2730mAh battery.

HTC Desire 12+

The Desire 12+ is built with a 6-inch HD+ IPS display. It comes with an 18:9 aspect ratio and a resolution of 720×1440 pixels. Desire 12+ is powered by Qualcomm’s octa-core Snapdragon 450 SoC. It is backed with 3GB RAM and 32GB storage. This can be expanded via a microSD card (up to 2TB).

The handset runs Android 8.0 Oreo with HTC Sense on top.

In the camera department, the device comes with a dual-rear camera module. It has a 13-megapixel BSI primary sensor and a 2-megapixel secondary sensor. It includes bokeh, face detection, panorama etc. The device also has an 8-megapixel selfie shooter. It has a f/2.0 aperture.

The device has a 3.5mm headphone jack and some sensors. It is also backed by a 2965mAh battery.
