Cupertino-based tech giant Apple’s iOS 12 will process a preloaded Live Listen feature on AirPods. iOS 12 Live Listen feature on AirPods will let users stream microphone audio from iPhone, directly to their ears.

This feature was launched in 2014. It is for hearing aids, based on the Made for iPhone specification. Moreover, the company is now planning on expanding the feature’s presence with AirPods stream audio from an iPhone’s microphone. iOS 12 Live Listen feature will be expanded once when the new OS goes live.
It will make it easier for users to listen to conversations in a noisy environment.
iOS 12 was revealed during Apple’s WWDC on 4th June 2018.

At the WWDC 2018 keynote, the company revealed all the devices which support iOS 11 and will be compatible with the iOS 12 update. The developer preview of iOS 12 is there on Apple’s developer portal. The public beta will be out in June 2018. The supported devices are iPhone 5S and later models, all iPad Air and iPad Pro devices, 5th generation iPad and other models, iPad 6th generation and later models, iPad Mini 2 and later models, and the iPad touch 6th generation.
BHIM App Receives Utility Bill Payments In iOS
Before the update, BHIM app only facilitated users to make UPI-based transactions (peer-to-peer).
Earlier the government had also introduced a cashback scheme for both merchants and customers. Its aimed at getting more customer for the app.
The new feature is present in the app’s latest 1.5 version update. In the ‘What’s New’ section, the latest features have been mentioned. The app says “pay bills on the go using the BHIM Bill Pay”. Also, users will be able to save their bills for future payments. Additionally, the biller categories include postpaid mobile, landline, broadband, DTH, electricity, gas, and water.
