Honor 7 With Fingerprint Sensor Launched In India At Rs. 22,999: Specifications & Features

Huawei’s Honor brand has launched its Honor 7 smartphone in the Indian market. The device was launched in China earlier this year.

Under the hood, it is powered by an octa-core HiSilicon Kirin 935 processor paired with Mali-T628 MP4 GPU and 3GB of RAM. Running Android 5.0 operating system wrapped under Emotion UI 3.1, it features a 5.2-inch full HD display with 1920×1080 pixels resolution and 423ppi pixel density. The phone comes with 16GB of internal memory which is expandable up to 128GB via microSD card. On camera front, it sports a 20 mega pixel rear camera with dual LED flash, f/2.0 aperture and an 8 mega pixel front facing camera with f/2.4 aperture.

Backed up by a 3100mAh battery, it comes with quick charging feature that charges the phone from zero to full within 1 hour 25 minutes and zero to 50 percent in 30 minutes. Connectivity options include 4G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS and NFC. On design front, it flaunts its metal clad unibody design and features fingerprint sensor on the back.

The company has also announced its wearable Honor Band Z1 alongside Honor 7 smartphone. Band Z1 comes with IP68 certification. This slim band does not feature any button and works on user’s motion to track activities like steps, calories burned and sleep.

Price & Availability

The Huawei Honor 7 is priced at Rs. 22,999 and will go on sale exclusively on Flipkart starting October 15 midnight. The Honor Band Z1 is priced at Rs. 5,499, there is no word on availability of the wearable as of now.
