The Huawei MatePad SE is priced at CNY 1,499 (approx Rs 17,400) for the Wi-Fi-only variant The Wi-Fi + LTE variant comes at CNY 1,699 (approx Rs 19,700).
The new tablet will be available in China from May 6 in a Dark Blue color finish. As of now, there is no information about the Indian price tag and launch date.

The Huawei MatePad SE is powered by a HiSilicon Kirin 710A processor and 4GB RAM. The 128GB internal storage can be further expanded (up to 512GB) via a micro SD card.
In terms of optics, the budget tablet sports a 5-megapixel rear camera (f/2.2 aperture) and a 2-megapixel front camera (f/2.4 aperture). It is backed by a 5,100mAh battery.

The Huawei MatePad SE runs HarmonyOS 2. Connectivity options include dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth v5.1, a USB Type-C port, and a 3.5mm headphone jack.
The new tablet sports a 10.1-inch IPS display with a resolution of 1,920 x 1,200 pixels. It measures 240.2 x 159 x 7.85mm and weighs 450 grams.
Additional features on the device include a dual speaker system, an ambient light sensor, compass/ magnetometer, gyroscope, proximity sensor, and accelerometer.
