The Huawei Y5 Lite is powered by a quad-core MediaTek MT6739 processor and 1GB RAM. The 16GB internal storage can be further expanded via a microSD card (up to 256GB). The affordable smartphone is backed by a 3,020mAh battery.

In terms of optics, the new handset sports an 8-megapixel rear camera with an LED flash. Camera features include f/2.0 aperture, PDAF (phase detection autofocus system), and a panorama mode. For selfies and video calling, the new smartphone features a 5-megapixel front camera sensor with an f/2.2 aperture. It supports a Selfie Toning feature.

The Huawei Y5 Lite runs Android 8.1 Oreo (Go edition) operating system. Connectivity options include 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth v4.2, GPS/ A-GPS, Micro-USB, and a 3.5mm headphone jack.

The dual-SIM smartphone features a 5.45-inch IPS FullView display with HD+ (720 x 1440 pixels) resolution, an 18:9 aspect ratio, and a pixel density of 295ppi. Sensors on the device include an accelerometer, ambient light sensor, and a proximity sensor.

The Huawei Y5 Lite measures 146.5 x 70.9 x 8.3mm. It comes in Blue and Black color options.

The Huawei Y5 Lite is the company’s second Android Go device. Recently, the smartphone manufacturer launched the Huawei Y7 Pro (2019) in Vietnam at VND 39,90,000 (approx Rs 11,900). The new handset is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 processor along with Adreno 506 GPU, 3GB RAM, and 32GB internal storage (expandable up to 512GB).

In terms of optics, the Huawei Y7 Pro (2019) sports a dual camera setup on the back. It combines a 13-megapixel primary sensor (with f/1.8 aperture), a secondary 2-megapixel sensor (with f/2.4 aperture), and a LED flash. For selfies and video calling, the smartphone sports a 16-megapixel front camera. It is backed by a 4,000mAh battery.
