Intex Aqua Ring With 5-inch Display, Android Marshmallow Launched At Rs. 4,999: Specifications & Features

Intex has expanded its Aqua series of smartphones with the launch of Intex Aqua Ring. As the name suggests, the Aqua Ring comes with a large ring surrounding the primary camera on the rear.

Under the hood, it is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6580A processor coupled with Mali 400 MP2 GPU and 1GB of RAM. The phone runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system and features a 5-inch HD display with 1280×720 pixels resolution and Asahi Dragontrail Glass protection.

On camera front, the Aqua Ring sports a 5 mega pixel rear camera with LED flash and a 5 mega pixel front facing camera. Some of the camera features include panorama mode, face beauty, gesture feature and smile shot. The phone houses 8GB of internal memory which can be further expanded up to 32GB via microSD card. Backed up by a 2450mAh battery, it measures 143.5x72x9.25 mm in dimensions and weighs 159 grams. Connectivity options include 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS.

The Aqua Ring is an entry level Android smartphone. It lacks 4G LTE support which is a drawback considering that some other smartphones in the same price range offer 4G LTE support.
