The Lenovo A5 is priced in India at Rs 5,999 for the 2GB RAM/ 16GB storage variant. The 3GB RAM/ 32GB storage model comes with a price tag of Rs 6,999. It will be exclusively available via Flipkart.

The budget smartphone is powered by a 1.5 GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6739 processor and 2GB/ 3GB RAM. The 16GB/ 32GB internal storage can be further expanded via a microSD card (up to 256GB).
In terms of optics, the Lenovo A5 sports a 13-megapixel rear camera with f/2.2 aperture and a monochrome flash. The 8-megapixel front camera comes with a f/2.2 aperture. The highlight of the new handset is a huge 4000mAh battery.

The Lenovo A5 runs Android 8.1 Oreo operating system with ZUI 3.9 on top. Connectivity options on the device include Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 4.2, Micro-USB port, and a 3.5mm jack.
The dual-SIM smartphone sports a 5.45-inch IPS display with HD+ (720×1440 pixels) resolution and 18:9 aspect ratio. It measures 146.2 x 70.86 x 9.8mm and weighs 160 grams. Sensors include an accelerometer, ambient light sensor, and proximity sensor. The handset also features a fingerprint sensor. It comes in Black and Fine Gold color options.
The new handset is powered by a 2.0GHz MediaTek MT6762 octa-core processor along with 3GB RAM. The 32GB internal storage can be further expanded via a hybrid microSD card slot (up to 128GB storage). It is backed by a 3,000mAh battery.
In terms of optics, the Lenovo K9 sports a dual camera set up on the front and the back. The rear camera setup combines a 13-megapixel primary sensor and 5-megapixel secondary sensor. The front camera setup also uses a 13-megapixel primary sensor and a 5-megapixel secondary sensor. Both camera setups are accompanied by an LED flash.
