The Lenovo K9 is priced in India at Rs 8,999. It will be exclusively available via Flipkart. The new smartphone will be available in Black and Blue color options.

The new handset is powered by a 2.0GHz MediaTek MT6762 octa-core processor along with 3GB RAM. The 32GB internal storage can be further expanded via a hybrid microSD card slot (up to 128GB storage). It is backed by a 3,000mAh battery.
In terms of optics, the Lenovo K9 sports a dual camera set up on the front and the back. The rear camera setup combines a 13-megapixel primary sensor and 5-megapixel secondary sensor. The front camera setup also uses a 13-megapixel primary sensor and a 5-megapixel secondary sensor. Both camera setups are accompanied by an LED flash.

The Lenovo K9 runs on Android Oreo operating system with on ZUI on top. Connectivity options include 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, USB Type-C, and a 3.5mm audio jack. The dual-SIM smartphone features a 5.7-inch display with HD+ resolution, 18:9 aspect ratio and 2.5D glass protection.
In terms of dimensions, the new handset measures 153.8 x 72.9 x 7.95mm. A fingerprint sensor is placed on the back. Other sensors on the device include an accelerometer, ambient light sensor, and proximity sensor.
The new handset was launched alongside Lenovo A5 (priced at Rs 5,999). It sports a 5.45-inch IPS display with HD+ (720 x 1440 pixels) resolution and 18:9 aspect ratio. The budget smartphone is powered by a 1.5 GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6739 processor and 2GB/ 3GB RAM. The 16GB/ 32GB internal storage can be further expanded via a microSD card (up to 256GB).
In terms of optics, the Lenovo A5 sports a 13-megapixel rear camera with f/2.2 aperture and a monochrome flash. The 8-megapixel front camera comes with a f/2.2 aperture. The new handset also sports a fingerprint sensor. It is backed by a huge 4000mAh battery.
