Within a week of launching Vibe K4 Note, Lenovo has launched its Lenovo A7000 Turbo smartphone in the Indian market. Priced at Rs. 10,999, it will go on sale starting January 13 via offline retail outlets and Lenovo’s official online store.
The Lenovo A7000 Turbo shares the same set of specifications as the Lenovo K3 Note which is available to buy from online retailer Flipkart for Rs. 9,999. Processor & RAM
The Lenovo A7000 Turbo and Vibe K4 Note are powered by octa-core MediaTek MT6572 and MediaTek MT6753 processors respectively. While the former houses 2GB of RAM, latter comes with massive 3GB of RAM. Xiaomi Mi4i and Moto G 3rd Gen are powered by octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 and quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 processors respectively. The Mi 4i packs 2GB of RAM while Moto G 3rd Gen comes in two variants bases on RAM- one with 1GB of RAM and another with 2GB of RAM.
Display
Except Moto G 3rd Gen which comes with HD display, all three smartphones feature full HD display. The display size of Lenovo A7000 Turbo and Lenovo Vibe K4 Note is 5.5-inch while other two smartphones have screen size of 5-inch.
Storage
The Lenovo A7000 Plus, Vibe K4 Note and Xiaomi Mi 4i house 16GB of internal memory. The Moto G 3rd Gen comes in two variants based on inbuilt storage- 8GB and 16GB, both of which are expandable up to 32GB via microSD card. Lenovo A7000 Turbo and Vibe K4 Note support expandable storage up to 32GB and 128GB respectively while Xiaomi Mi 4i misses out on microSD card support for expandable storage.
Camera
This department is a tie since all the four smartphones sport a 13 mega pixel rear camera with dual LED flash and a 5 mega pixel front facing camera.
Battery
The Vibe K4 Note is backed up by a large 3300mAh battery followed by Xiaomi Mi4i with 3120mAh battery, A7000 Turbo with 3000mAh battery and lastly the Moto G 3rd Gen with 2470mAh battery.
Connectivity
All four smartphones offer 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS as connectivity options.
Additional Features
The Lenovo Vibe K4 Note features fingerprint scanner for additional security. It also comes with dual front speakers supporting Dolby Atmos. The Motorola Moto G 3rd Gen comes with IPX7 certification.
Price
Lenovo A7000 Turbo is priced at Rs. 10,999. The Vibe K4 Note and Xiaomi Mi 4i both carry price tag of Rs. 11,999. The 8GB variant of Moto G 3rd Gen costs Rs. 11,999 while the 16GB variant is priced at Rs. 12,999.
Verdict
Lenovo A7000 Turbo carries the lowest price tag of Rs.10,999 and offers decent specs. The Xiaomi Mi 4i misses out on expandable storage support and Moto G 3rd Gen lags behind in display and battery department. If you are ready to spend Rs. 11,999, then Lenovo Vibe K4 Note is the right smartphone for you with a lot of features to offer in terms of massive RAM, large battery and fingerprint scanner.
