LG Optimus G Pro

Design:

LG Optimus G Pro has a standard bar design nothing special in our opinion but is distinguishable when hunting in a throng of handsets. It has a build thicker than what we saw on Galaxy S4 and other competing handsets but being honest it provides a grip to the smartphone when holding it with one hand. Here is an unboxing video which can be watched below which showcases the build and the overall looks of the device.

Display:

Display quality on the Optimus G Pro is amazing. We saw a full HD movie on the smartphone and were absolutely surprised by the richness and quality of color reproduction. The appropriate color tones and brightness levels makes objects look perfect making the display one USP of this device. The display is Full HD that is of 1020 x 1920 pixels resolution with a next big thing for smartphones nowadays.

Camera:

LG Optimus G Pro features a 13MP rear camera which shoots up to 4208 x 3120 resolution pictures and up to full HD videos. It comes with a LED flash, autofocus and some camera software functionalities which adds up to its value like the dual shot mode. It also comes with a secondary camera of 2.1MP which itself is capable of recording 1080p full HD videos.

Hardware:

Now looking at the hardware technical specifications of this Android device, it is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 600 quad-core 1.7GHz processor having 2GB of RAM. It comes with 16GB internal memory with support for external microSD card up to 64GB. It has a massive 3120 mAh capacity battery which keeps the handset working for 15-17 hours with little more than normal usage, screen being the primarily battery hogger after all its full HD.

Software:

LG devices comes with a their own custom UI layering but its not as resource hungry as Touchwiz. The UI has been designed keeping in mind the simple user interface with sufficient user interaction to prevent him/her from getting bored providing a lot of customization options available. It runs on Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean and is planned for upgradation in near future very soon.

Price:

LG Optimus G Pro comes for 32,999 from Flipkart and approximately the same from other leading online retail outlets and stores across the country. It comes with white and blue color options.

Conclusion:

Playing with LG Optimus G Pro for a week has been a good experience for myself personally. It has some of the software features like Quick Remote which comes really handy sometimes and can be put to great use. The camera itself is good not best though. The performance has been amazing with the Snapdragon 600 processor and 2GB of RAM. It was a pleasant experience using LG Optimus G Pro and we would suggest any Android lover to consider this as an option while buying when you find a good deal. It is a high end smartphone and competing with Samsung Galaxy S4 and HTC One, we can consider it in the list for 33k as an optimal price justifying the device, its specifications and brand value.
