LG Q9 One Android One Smartphone Launched With 16MP Camera

Price 500,000 won (approx Rs 32,000)

The new LG Q9 One variant is priced in South Korea at KRW 599,500 (approx Rs 37,900). It will be exclusively available on LG U+ from February 15. The LG Q9 was launched at 500,000 won (approx Rs 32,000). It will be available in July this year.

The new handset sports a 6.1-inch display with QHD+ (1440 x 3120 pixels) resolution, 19.5:9 aspect ratio and pixel density of 564ppi. It is powered by a Snapdragon 835 processor and 4GB RAM. The 64GB internal storage can be further expanded via a microSD card slot (up to 2TB).

In terms of optics, the LG Q9 One sports a 16-megapixel rear camera sensor with f/1.6 aperture, HDR10, and OIS support. For selfies and video calling, the handset sports an 8-megapixel front camera. It is backed by a 3,000mAh battery with Qualcomm Quick Charge 3 support.

The LG Q9 One runs the latest Android Pie operating system out-of-the-box (as part of the Android One programme). Connectivity options include Bluetooth v5.0, NFC, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, FM radio, and USB-Type C port.

The new smartphone comes with IP68 certification (water resistant) and MIL-STD-810G military grade certification. It measures 153.2 x 71.9 x 7.9mm and weighs 156 grams. A fingerprint sensor is placed on the back. It comes in a Moroccan Blue color option.

LG is all set to launch a new K series smartphone called the K12+. The budget smartphone will sport a tall HD+ display (1440 x 720 pixels) with 280ppi pixel density. It will be powered by a 2.0GHz octa-core MediaTek Helio P22 processor along with 3GB RAM and 32GB internal storage. The LG K12+ is likely to run an Android 8.1 Oreo operating system. It will sport a front camera with an LED flash.
