The M-tech Sathi is priced in India at Rs 1299. The new feature phone is available across the country via retail stores (over 20,000) and leading e-commerce sites (including Amazon, Snapdeal, Flipkart, Shopclues, Paytm, etc).

The M-tech Sathi sports a 2.0-inch horizontal wide-screen display. For better visibility, an extra-large keypad is accompanied by large on-screen fonts, bold icons, and enhanced keypad sound. It also comes with Braille support for the visually impaired.

Additional senior-friendly features include an SOS button (for an emergency) and Alerts feature (allows users to set alerts like water alert or medicine alert). The company claims that M-tech Sathi is the only phone in its segment to offer a Bluetooth dialer. Users can connect this phone to their smartphone to make/receive a call without touching their smartphone.

M-tech claims that also claims that it is the only brand that offers one-page menu localization. The new feature phone is powered by a 1800mAh battery. It comes in multiple color options – Black, Silver, and Gold. Other features include a rear camera and FM radio.

Recently, iBall also launched a new feature phone aimed at senior citizens, called the iBall Aasaan 4. It is priced in India at Rs 3,499. Highlights of the device include louder audio, larger keypad, emergency alerts, and long-lasting battery. It comes with a Braille keypad and a ‘talking keypad’ feature that speaks out the digit pressed by a user.

The dual-SIM device is backed by a 1,800mAh battery and supports microSD cards (up to 32GB). Additional features include one-touch buttons for phone lock, LED torch and FM radio. The company has also boosted the audio output on Aasaan 4.
