Microsoft Lumia 430 Launched In India At Rs. 5,299: Specs, Features & Hands On Review

Microsoft has finally brought its cheapest Lumia series phone Lumia 430 to the Indian market. Priced at Rs. 5,299, the handset will go on sale starting today in Black and Orange color options. Furthermore, it will be available bundled with exclusive offers for buyers. The Lumia 430 buyers will get cashback of Rs. 1000 of recharges and bill payments on MobiKwik; discounts worth Rs. 1500 on booking bus tickets from redbus.in; 500 MB free data (3G or 2G depending on circle) on vodafone per month for two months.

Lumia 430 packs a 1.2 GHz dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 200 processor paired with 1 GB of RAM. It features a 4 inch WVGA LCD display, 2 mega pixel rear camera, VGA front facing camera and a 1500 mAh battery.

Micosoft has announced the cheapest phone in Lumia series, dubbed the Microsoft Lumia 430 smartphone. The handset under the hood, is powered by a dual-core Snapdragon 200 clocked at 1.2 GHz coupled with 1 GB of RAM. It features a 4 inch WVGA LCD display with 800 x 480 pixels resolution and 235 ppi pixel density. The Lumia 430 houses 8 GB of inbuilt storage which is expandable up to 128 GB via microSD card. It comes with up to 30 GB of free OneDrive cloud storage. The dual-SIM handset runs Windows Phone 8.1 operating system with Lumia Denim which according to the company will get Windows 10 OS upgrade later this year.

There is a 1500 mAh battery onboard which is rated to deliver up to 8.4 hours of talk time and up to 24 days of standby time. Connectivity options on the Lumia 430 include 3G, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth. It measures 120.5 x 63.19 x 10.63 mm, weighs 127.9 grams and will be available in bright orange and black color options.

Microsoft also launched its Lumia 532 smartphone in India earlier this year at Rs. 6,499. As for specifications, the handset comes with 1.2 GHz quad-core Snapdragon 200 processor, 4 inch display, Windows 8.1 OS (with Lumia Denim), 1 GB RAM, 8 GB of ROM (expandable up to 128 GB via microSD card), 5 mega pixel rear camera, VGA front camera and 1560 mAh battery.
