The Redmi Note 7 is the first smartphone under new ‘Redmi by Xiaomi’ brand. The new handset sports a waterdrop-shaped notch, dual cameras, fingerprint sensor, and a 4,000mAh battery. The highlight of the device is its 48MP primary sensor. However, it lacked a dedicated Night Mode for low-light photography (seen on its Pro sibling).

The ‘Enhanced Low Light Mode’ produces great images with the Redmi Note 7 Pro smartphone. Now, you can get the new feature on Redmi Note 7 too. The new feature is being rolled out to Redmi Note 7 with a new MIUI Global Stable update. Here’s how you can get it on your Redmi Note 7 device:

How To Get ‘Enhanced Low Light Mode’ For Redmi Note 7:

  • Install the MIUI 10.2.7.0 (PFGINXM) Global Stable update.
  • Next, a dedicated ‘Night’ mode will be added to your Redmi Note 7’s camera UI homepage.

The Xiaomi Redmi Note 7 comes with a price tag of Rs 9,999 for the 3GB RAM/ 32GB storage variant. The 4GB RAM/ 64GB model will be available at Rs 11,999. It is powered by a 2.2GHz Snapdragon 660 octa-core processor along with 3GB/ 4GB/ 6GB RAM and 32GB/ 64GB internal storage. The 4,000mAh battery comes with Quick Charge 4 support.

In terms of optics, the new smartphone sports a dual camera setup on the back. It combines a 48-megapixel Sony IMX586 sensor (with f/1.8 aperture) with a 5-megapixel secondary sensor. Additional features include AI-support and LED flash. For selfies and video calling, the handset sports a 13-megapixel front camera.

Redmi Note 7, Redmi Note 7 Pro

The Redmi Note 7 runs Android Oreo operating system with MIUI 10 on top. Connectivity options include 4G VoLTE, Bluetooth, WiFi, USB Type-C port, and a 3.5mm audio jack. The new handset comes in Onyx Black, Ruby Red, and Sapphire Blue color options.

The dual-SIM smartphone sports a 6.3-inch LTPS display with full-HD+ (1080 x 2340 pixels) resolution, waterdrop-shaped notch, and 19.5:9 aspect ratio. It supports 450 nits brightness, 84 percent NTSC color gamut, and Corning Gorilla Glass 5. The handset also features 2.5D glass protection up front and at the back.
