Nubia has finally launched its Red Magic gaming smartphone in the Indian market. The Nubia Red Magic was initially unveiled in April this year. It sports an aviation-grade aluminum alloy build with a diamond-cut surface and ‘vector aesthetics’. Price and Availability
The Nubia Red Magic is priced in India at Rs 29,999 for the lone 8GB RAM variant. It will be exclusively available through Amazon.in. In China, the gaming smartphone was launched at CNY 2,499 (approx Rs 26,400) for the 6GB RAM/ 64GB storage variant. The 8GB RAM/ 128GB storage model costs CNY 2,999 (approx Rs 31,600).

The new smartphone is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor along with an Adreno 540 GPU, 8GB LPDDR4X RAM, and 128GB UFS 2.1 internal storage. It is backed by a 3,800mAh battery with support for NeoPower 3.0 and Nubia fast charging capabilities.
In terms of optics, the Nubia Red Magic sports a 24-megapixel rear camera sensor with f/1.7 aperture and 0.9-micron pixel size. It supports 4K video recording at 30fps. The 8-megapixel front camera comes with f/2.0 aperture and 1.12-micron pixel size. It supports full-HD (1080p) recording at 30fps.

The gaming smartphone features a dual air convection cooling system. It comes with three cooling ports, additional layers of graphite, and a convex-styled back. It measures 158.1 x 74.9 x 9.5mm and weighs 185 grams. The aviation-grade aluminum alloy build comes with a 16.8-million color RGB LED strip.
Additionally, a dedicated GameBoost button boosts the system performance. The GameBoost mode also disables incoming calls, messages, and other notifications. Connectivity options on the device include 4G VoLTE, dual-band 2X2 MIMO Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth v5.0, GPS, GLONASS, BeiDou, a USB Type-C port, and a 3.5mm headphone jack.
The dual-SIM smartphone runs a stock Android 8.1 Oreo operating system. It sports a 5.99-inch LTPS TFT display panel with full-HD+ (1080 x 2160 pixels) resolution, 18:9 aspect ratio, a pixel density of 403ppi, and an 85 percent screen-to-body ratio.
Recently, the company launched the Red Magic Mars in China at CNY 2,699 (approx Rs 27,400) for the 6GB RAM/ 64GB internal storage variant. While the 8GB RAM/ 128GB storage model costs CNY 3,199 (approx Rs 32,500), the 10GB RAM/ 256GB storage variant comes with a price tag of CNY 3,999 (approx Rs 40,600).
The gaming smartphone sports a 6-0-inch display with full-HD+ (1080 x 2160 pixels) resolution and 18:9 aspect ratio. It is powered by a 2.8GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor along with 6GB/ 8GB/ 10GB RAM and 64GB, 128GB, and 256GB internal storage. The 3,800mAh battery comes with fast charging support.
In terms of optics, the Nubia Red Magic Mars sports a 16-megapixel rear camera with f/1.8 aperture and phase detection autofocus (PDAF). For selfies and video calling, the new handset sports an 8-megapixel front camera with f/2.0 aperture. Additional features include a DTS 7.1 channel along with 3D surround sound.
